Troon is a popular holiday resort with soft and sandy award winning beaches, overlooking the island of Arran. The town has a busy esplanade, bustling harbour, marina, individual shops and a good selection of restaurants.

There are six wonderful golf courses, including the Open Championship venue, Royal Troon close to Westwinds House and within easy reach there are the famous Prestwick and Turnberry courses

Other recreational facilities include a heated indoor swimming pool, tennis courts, bowling green and in the summer months, pitch and putt and crazy golf.

Troon is close to the beautiful island of Arran, historic Ayrshire and its villages and the world famous Robert Burns Cottage and heritage trail.
